Sint, also known as Sinterklaas or Saint Nicholas, originated in Europe and has historical roots dating back to the 4th century. Santa Claus, on the other hand, has evolved from various traditions and legends.

Sint is depicted as an elderly bishop with a long white beard, wearing a red bishop's robe and a mitre. Santa Claus, on the other hand, is often portrayed as a jolly old man with a white beard, wearing a red suit and hat.
